Sara DeNardis, DO
Sara DeNardis, DO is a gynecologic oncologist, specialized in caring for women with gynecologic cancers including uterine, ovarian, cervical, vaginal and vulvar. She treats pelvic masses, post menopausal bleeding and par ticipates in genetic discussion regarding prophylactic surgery. Dr DeNardis is an expert da Vinci® robotic surgeon.
Dr DeNardis is board eligible in gynecologic oncology and board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She was awarded “Best Clinical Poster” at the 2008 Society of Gynecologic Oncologists national conference for her research on robotic staging of endometrial (uterine) cancer. Dr DeNardis completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship at Florida Hospital in Orlando. Prior to fellowship, she practiced as a general OB/GYN for two years in Port Huron, MI. Dr. DeNardis completed obstetrics and gynecology residency in Mount Clemens, MI and osteopathic medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa. Prior to medical school, she earned undergraduate degrees in genetics and bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Dr. DeNardis has also authored and co-authored many publications and presentations. Dr. DeNardis gives hope to women with gynecologic malignancies. She offers patients compassionate care with cutting edge technology and skills. Her interests include complex pelvic surgery, both open and minimally invasive robotic procedures.
